Confident Kids OT is a place for kids to conquer their challenges while developing their strengths .

My Story

My name is Charlie Johnson, OTR/L.  I am the owner and lead therapist at Confident Kids Occupational Therapy.  I started Confident Kids OT in 2016 to break out of the “typical” therapy box that many therapists and families find themselves in.  I prefer to do most OT outdoors, combining natural outdoor elements with functional projects/challenges that enable a child to get their hands dirty while building their strength and confidence.  In addition to private OT, I am the outdoor education leader for Hess Academy in Decatur and the on-staff OT and projects leader for the Ivey Learning Center in Roswell. I am also a Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board for Clay Days, Inc. 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, which aims to continue the work and honor the legacy of my late friend, colleague, and mentor Clay White.
